Dariel Baez
My name is Dariel Baez. I was born in the Dominican Republic and grew up 15 minutes north of Boston since I was 6. I joined the Army at 26 and became an intelligence specialist. I was stationed in Washington state and was deployed multiple times. When I left active duty I decided to move down to south Florida. I then joined the guard for about 3 years and in that time I worked for Western Union as a program manager overseeing the Western Hemisphere and wester Europe in relation to anti-money laundering, fraud and consumer protection. I left the position in December 2017, since my wife and I had a newborn and she was gearing to be deployed herself. During that time, I finished my MBA as I was being Daddy Day Care and essentially being a tutor to my 7 year old daughter. Boy! Who knew that second grade was really tough? Lol It was a great learning and growth opportunity for my family and I. I decided to start another MBA here at Nova because I really loved Marketing and the school schedule worked for me. While I am not doing this, I am currently building my real estate investing business. It is moving along and I look forward to many opportunities and challenges. I also look forward to collaborating with all of you.
